@michaelfarina - You're right, Embed the Web will allow integration with some tools like Gabbly and Ribbit. From what I've read about weblin.com it relies on a download or Firefox addon. Well, I don't know about Gabbly, but there are others that would be great. I assume many could be worked in through your upcoming embed-the-web feature. A simple widget to list skype names of students or other, similar CMC services would be fine too, though the integration of ribbit as a widget would be incredible.
Haiku integration of Weblin.com might also be very interesting.
